Isn't it phenomenal when your current favorite song gets the video treatment? It's even better when said video turns out to be a piece of art. I bring you the latest from Bon Iver and their video for Towers, which oddly enough I've been playing non-stop for the past month of so. And I say odd because I'm not necessarily fond of this music style, but, to put it in one word, something about this song is just amazing. I remind you that Towers, taken from their self-titled album, is up to #2 on my Songs chart as of February 25th, and is now the best charting song for Bon Iver.

6th Week for Gotye & Kimbra

Not a lot of change in the Songs chart as we find Gotye and Kimbra spending their sixth consecutive week at the top with Somebody That I Used To Know, and though it's too early to tell, you should know that it's already become the biggest song of the year so far.

Elsewhere in the top ten, only two songs reach a new peak and those would be Bon Iver's Towers, which makes a surprising move to #2 and Friendly Fires' Pala which moves up a notch to #9. The longest running title here is also the week's Greatest Gainer with Adele's Someone Like You returning to #3 in its 30th week on the chart. An impressive chart run, that doesn't necessarily mean a shot at #1 is out of the question. If we go back to 2009 Kings Of Leon's Closer managed to become the longest run to the top in the history if the Songs chart by reaching the summit in its 37th week on the chart.

The week's biggest chart jump goes to Lana Del Rey whose Blue Jeans leaps 34 spots to #27 with three weeks on the chart. She also gets the Power Play track of the week and her fifth chart entry with Off To The Races making an entrance at #59. But the Highest Debut goes to The Fray, a band that returns to the chart after a two year absence. Heartbeat, from their newly released album Scars & Stories, enters at #38. Their last chart entry came in 2010 with Syndicate peaking at #67.

Digital Charts: The Grammy's & Whitney

It'd normally be a post-Grammy frenzy but this past week was marked by the sad news and posterior bittersweet chart comeback of a true legend and one of the greatest female vocalists in contemporary music. Much like with the passing of other musicians including Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse or Etta James, the unexpected death of Whitney Houston has the music world going back to her biggest and most notorious hit songs, which nowadays represents a form of homage to an artist's legacy. So it comes to no surprise that this week's Digital Songs chart is led by one of her most memorable hit songs, I Will Always Love You, which is this week's most downloaded song worldwide according to iTunes. But that's just one of several songs she's being remembered by. The highest new entry this week is I Have Nothing (#17), followed by Greatest Love Of All (#19), Saving All My Love (#29), One Moment In Time (#31), Where Do Broken Hearts Go (#94) and All At Once (#98). Grammy-wise, it was a good week for Katy Perry and her new single Part Of Me entering at #30, followed by Foo Fighters with Walk coming at #55 and Chris Brown's Turn Up The Music at #59. See more...

Not surprisingly, Adele's big night at the Grammy's makes her album 21 take the #1 spot once again while her first album 19 re-enters the top ten at #9. Bon Iver see their self-titled set re-enter at #61 as does Skrillex with Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites re-entering at #86. And there's more Whitney Houston here with two of her compilations, The Ultimate Collection and Greatest Hits, sitting at #3 and #4 respectively, while her last studio album, I Look To You, re-enters the top 100 at #45. Gotye Scores 5th Week at #1

It's week number five at the top of the Songs chart for the Gotye and Kimbra collaboration, Somebody That I Used To Know, and even though it's lost its bullet for the first time since it entered the chart eleven weeks ago, it still has potential to stay on top for several more as it's still ahead of Lana Del Rey, who settles for #2 once again with Video Games, by 200 points. Friendly Fires' former #1, Blue Cassette, rebounds to #3 in its seventeenth week on the chart.

More songs shake up the Top Ten this time starting with Bon Iver who score their first top 5 song as Towers moves up to #4 as Greatest Gainer track in its sixth week on the chart. Their biggest song so far had been Calgary which managed to peak at #24 by the end of last year. Another artist returning to the Top Ten is Santigold, who manages to get her new single Big Mouth to #6, which is also the peak of her previous chart entry Go! featuring Karen O. Santigold's biggest hit so far is 2008's I'm A Lady which peaked at #5. And Gym Class Heroes get their second Top Ten song from The Papercut Chronicles II with Ass Back Home featuring Neon Hitch moving to #7 this week. Their previous chart entry, Stereo Hearts featuring Adam Levine, peaked at #10 and sits currently at #32 in its 33rd week on the chart.

The chart's new entries this week includes more Gotye with Smoke And Mirrors getting the Highest Debut at #70, followed by Lana Del Rey's National Anthem at #84, Sean Paul's She Doesn't Mind at #85 and Vetiver's first chart entry with Can't You Tell at #98.

Gotye Holds On To #1

With only ten weeks on the chart Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know featuring Kimbra is already shaping up to be one of this year's biggest tracks as it scores a fourth consecutive week at the top, and still with a bullet. And although the song ends its streak as Greatest Gainer, it still manages to reach a new maximum of +450 points for this chart issue. That's almost the same number of points by all titles below the #30 position combined! In other Gotye-related news, Making Mirrors makes the jump to #1 for the first time on this week's album chart knocking out Adele's 21 to the #2 position.

So, who gets Greatest Gainer honors this week? Well it's none other than Bon Iver's Towers which jumps 19 spots to the number 14 position in its fifth week on the chart. It's already their biggest song since Calgary and expect it go even higher because I'm really feeling this song a lot at the moment. As far as the Biggest Jumper of the week goes, leave it to Friendly Fires as their latest album's title track Pala moves up 25 to #22 this week. Madonna makes a return to the charts since 2009's Celebration and gets this week's Highest Debut with her newest single Give Me All Your Luvin' featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. entering at #76. Lana Del Rey follows with her third chart entry so far, this time is Blue Jeans debuting at #77. Amy Winehouse enters at #88 with Between The Cheats and The Cars' Keep On Knocking closes as Power Play track of the week debuting at #100.

Rihanna Returns To #1

It was a very close race for the #1 spot this week, perhaps the closest so far in the history of these charts, but after a one-week absence from the top due to LMFAO's Sexy And I Know It taking the title last week, Rihanna bounces back with We Found Love featuring Calvin Harris for a second non-consecutive week at #1. Close behind though are two of LMFAO's hits, the aforementioned Sexy And I Know It, which falls back a spot to #2 and Party Rock Anthem featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock which stays at its #3 peak.

Elsewhere in the Top Ten we find Adele who's yet to break the #4 debut and peak of her song Someone Like You, up from last week's #5 position, Gotye and Kimbra are slowly but steady aiming at the pole position with Somebody That I Used To Know at #5 in its sixth week on the chart, Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger refuses to go as it jumps five spots to a new #6 peak after 29 weeks on the chart, Flo Rida gets Greatest Gainer honors with the Etta James assisted Good Feeling breaking into the Top Ten at #7, David Guetta and Usher's Without You also gets a spot at #8, Foster The People remains steady at #9 with Pumped Up Kicks, and the only dropper of the group, Fedde le Grand's So Much Love is down six spots to #10.

The Hot Shot Debut of the week belongs to fun. with We Are Young featuring Janelle Monáe entering at #52. A promising figure for this year's charts is Lana Del Rey who sees her song Born To Die debut as Power Play of the week at #71. Video Games on the other hand sits solidly at #29 in its fourth week. And plenty of other new entries this week coming from Selena Gomez & The Scene, Rihanna, One Direction, Lady GaGa, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Young Man and Bon Iver.

Coachella 2012 Lineup

The 2012 Coachella lineup has arrived.

The SoCal festival's eagerly awaited lineup was posted to its Facebook page on Monday, where it met with a flurry of comments from fans and haters alike.

There's plenty to discuss: the festival, which expands to a second weekend this year, will featuring headlining performances from ascendent rockers the Black Keys, headlining alumni Radiohead and a collaborative performance by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg (assuming he's available after today's marijuana possession arrest).

The hip-hop headliners marks the festival's third year in a row with MCs at the top of the bill, following performances by Jay-Z and Kanye West in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

Coachella is known for its reunions, and this year's festival will coax a number of acts out of hiding: it will feature an appearance by Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum, marking the first Southland appearance of the previously hermetic indie musician's current tour, as well as punk icons Refused and At the Drive-In, which announced its reformation on Twitter earlier on Monday. '90s alt-rockers Mazzy Star, who surprised fans with new recordings late last year, will perform on the festival's first day -- as will the resurgent Jarvis Cocker-led British act Pulp.

As usual, the considerable lineup ranges from electronic dance music (Swedish House Mafia, Girl Talk, DJ Shadow) to adventurous hip-hop and R&B (Azealia Banks, the Weeknd, A$AP Rocky) and indie favorites (Arctic Monkeys, Feist, Wild Flag). Among the higher-profile acts is the Grammy nominated Bon Iver, who made surprise appearances at 2011's festival alongside the National and Kanye West. Diva fans can get their fill with Florence + the Machine, who will perform on Sunday.

The festival will be held at Indio, Calif.'s Empire Polo Club with identical lineups on April 13-15 and April 20-22.

Posted on the rapper's website for everyone to see, there's a disclaimer just before the first gory scenes of dead women hanging dead from the ceiling, and that's just the beginning.

iTunes Accidentally Leaks New Bon Iver Album + Free 'Calgary' Download

When Bon Iver's hotly anticipated second album Bon Iver leaked earlier this week, it wasn't because a CD fell into the wrong hands or someone got hacked or any of the usual reasons records hit the internet ahead of their street date. In this case, the culprit was Apple's iTunes store, the world's leading digital music retailer.

Though iTunes has declined to comment on exactly what went down, it appears as though someone at the company accidentally put the entirety of Bon Iver's new album on sale a la carte when the disc's first single "Calgary" was made available for purchase on Tuesday. Apple fixed the error shortly after it occurred, but that didn't stop a number of customers from buying and leaking the full album well before its June 21st release. Within an hour, Bon Iver was all over torrents and other file sharing services.

Bon Iver's record label Jagjaguwar and frontman Justin Vernon's attorney both declined to comment.

This isn't the first time an error in the iTunes store has led to a record leaking to the internet. Back in 2009, the Norwegian iTunes store accidentally put Kelly Clarkson's album All I Ever Wanted on sale a month before its street date. Also, in 2008, the store did the same thing with the Raconteurs' Consolers of the Lonely.

Kanye & Co. Reign For A 2nd Week

In fact, there's no movement for this week's Top 3 songs with Kanye West leading for a second week with All Of The Lights. Drake stays at No. 2 with Unforgettable and Cee Lo Green remains at No. 3 with Bright Lights Bigger City.

Four new entries to the Top 10 and one return shake things up a bit at the higher end of the chart with the Kanye West / John Legend Blame Game collaboration landing at No. 5 as Greatest Gainer of the week, Kid Cudi's Marijuana jumps to No. 6, Ellie Goulding storms up to No. 8 with Animal and Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy lead track, Derezzed, bows at No. 10. The return belongs to Kanye West Lost In The World collaboration with Bon Iver.

Obsessions by Marina & The Diamonds is determined to go very high on the chart as it scores the Power Play of the week for a second time and is also the Highest Jump, breaking the Top 50 and landing at the No. 43 position. Only two - rather weak - debuts mark this week's new entries, led by Katy Perry's Not Like The Movies at No. 93 and N*E*R*D's It's In The Air at No. 96.

'The Show Goes On' For A 3rd Week

Lupe Fiasco is way ahead of the competition and goes on for a third consecutive week at the top of The Chart this week with The Show Goes On. And its looking promising for the song to stay on the top for a while because runner-up N*E*R*D is about one-hundred points behind with I've Seen The Light / Inside Of Clouds. Brandon Flowers keeps climbing, this time to No. 3 with Only The Young and Kid Cudi finally goes Top 10 - twice - as REVOFEV and Ashin' Kusher sit at No. 4 and No. 7 respectively. It's also been a bit of a struggle for P!nk to rise in the chart after a big debut 8 weeks ago, but she finally cracks the Top 10 as Raise Your Glass jumps five places to No. 6.
