Kanye West & Bon Iver › Lost In The World

Kanye West, Rick Ross, Jay-Z & Nicki Minaj › Monster

Despite all the controversy surrounding Kanye West's video for Monster, off his critically acclaimed album release My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the visual finally sees the light of day. Posted on the rapper's website for everyone to see, there's a disclaimer just before the first gory scenes of dead women hanging dead from the ceiling, and that's just the beginning.

"The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people. It is an art piece and it shall be taken as such."

Kanye West, Rihanna & Kid Cudi › All Of The Lights

If you're familiar with this Kanye West song you should know it features a whole lot of other people and for some reason only Rihanna and Kid Cudi made it into the video. Big up for Kid Cudi and his sorta Gold Digger dance during his cameo. Directed by veteran Hype Williams, the All Of The Lights video is full of flash, color and should really have a disclaimer for possibly causing seizures. Really. Expected a whole lot more for this one, not only because of the amazing array of artists featured, but because even the small plot got lost in all the lyrics from the song flashing on screen (what was that all about?), not to mention the unforgivable edit-out of one of the song's stand-outs: Fergie's whole verse! Such a HUGE disappointment.

Just recently, All Of The Lights went on to spend four weeks at the top of my chart starting January 8th. The song is currently back up one spot to #2 on this week's chart issue.

Kanye and Nicki Set for Big Debuts on Billboard 200

From Billboard.com:

Early prognostications from industry gurus are pointing to a very handsome first week for Kanye West's new "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy." Sources say the set could sell perhaps 550,000 by week's end on Sunday, Nov. 28, easily securing it a No. 1 bow on the Billboard 200 next week.

If it arrives atop the list, it will mark his fourth No. 1 set following "Late Registration" (2005), "Graduation" (2007) and "808s & Heartbreak" (2008). The latter began with 450,000 and was released over Thanksgiving week -- just like "My Beautiful..."

Also gunning for a big entrance next week is Nicki Minaj's debut effort, "Pink Friday," which is on target to begin with more than 400,000. It could mark the best sales week for a female hip-hop artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991. Currently, that record is held by rapper/singer Lauryn Hill's "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," which launched with 423,000 in 1998. (The best week for a straight-ahead female emcee was earned by Missy Elliott's "Under Construction," when it bowed with 259,000 in 2002.)

Ne-Yo's fourth studio album "Libra Scale" could launch with 125,000 while My Chemical Romance's latest, "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys," may start with 100,000 to 110,000.

Kanye West & Pusha T › Runaway

It has finally arrived. Kanye West's much talked-about new video/mini-movie for his single Runaway is now available through various video channels and his very own website (KanyeWest.com)

Kanye West to Debut 'Runaway' Video Saturday Night

From SPIN.com:

For the last week, Kanye West has been flying across the country to premiere his 35-minute "Runaway" music video to select audiences, but the rapper will finally unveil the extended clip this weekend for the rest of the world.

"Runaway" will debut Saturday night at 8 P.M. on Vevo, with simultaneous broadcasts on VH1 and MTV. Following the premiere, West will sit with MTV to take fans' questions via Twitter using the hashtag #askkanye.

At Thursday night's premiere in New York, Kanye introduced the screening, telling the packed audience about his rock-star ambitions for the video. "Think big, set your goals high," he said. "I mean, a 35-minute film — we did it. We so Seventies right now. We rock stars, fuck y'all's opinion."

"Runaway" chronicles a Phoenix-like character, played by model Selita Ebanks, as she falls to Earth — only to be rescued by Kanye. There are also fireballs, sports cars, sheep, a Michael Jackson statue, a Scottish marching band, and Nicki Minaj narrating in a British accent. Whoa!

In the meantime, revisit the trailer for "Runaway" below.

Kanye Reveals Upcoming Album's Cover Art

Notorious boundary-pusher/rapper Kanye West has just revealed what is supposed to be the album cover to his upcoming music project My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Out Nov. 23). The racy - if you can call it that- cover art, which you can see below, has been banned in the United States, according to his very own tweet. Now you be the judge.

@KanyeWest: Banned in the USA!!! They don't want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!
