The Week's New Releases (Oct12,'10)

Not much to look forward to this week. Maybe Lil Wayne? Not really. Despite his album being available as a digital download a few weeks ago, it's just now that its getting an "official" release. Darius Rucker, frontman of the extinct(?) Hootie & The Blowfish band. Nope. Wait! There's a new Sufjan Stevens record out. I should check that out. What I noticed is that there are quite a few new holiday releases this week by... random artists, including a compilation record by the Now That's What I Call Christmas! franchise. What gives? It's still mid-october! Here's a list of some of this week's releases:

I Am Not A Human Being by Lil Wayne
Charleston, SC 1966 by Darius Rucker
The Age of Adz by Sufjan Stevens
Write About Love by Belle and Sebastian
For We Are Many by All That Remains
Post Electric Blues by Idlewild
Free Wired by Far East Movement
The Band Perry by The Band Perry
In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010 by Robbie Williams
Now That's What I Call Christmas! 4 by Various Artists
Christmas Is A Time...(To Say I Love You) by Katharine McPhee
Christmas In Harmony by Wilson Phillips
