3 Weeks for 'All Of The Lights'

The star-studded All Of The Lights stays at the top of The Chart for a third consecutive week. Pretty solid! In fact, I've just read somewhere that this is about to become Kanye West's official next single. Smart move. It is, after all, the most mainstream song on the album (and a #1 on my list, of course!). But some strong competition approaches now that Ellie Goulding managed to sneak in the top 3 with Animal and Marina & The Diamonds gets her fourth top 10, this time with Obsessions. The latter is Greatest Gainer I might add. Will this be the one to break her #2-peak curse?

Marina & The Diamonds also gets the Highest Debut and Power Play of the week with Rootless, her tenth song to enter the chart. The other new entries are all collaborations. Great collaborations. There's Tiësto vs. Diplo featuring Busta Rhymes coming in at No. 75 with C'mon (Catch 'Em By Surprise), Kanye West & Jay-Z's first duo single H·A·M enters at No. 76 and a first for Ian Carey alongside Bobby Anthony & Snoop Dogg as Last Night debuts at No. 77.

Coldplay ousted from UK number one spot

After just a week at the peak, tonight (June 29) Coldplay slip to number two on the single chart as they swap places with Ne-Yo and his track 'Closer'.

However, it's not all bad news for the all conquering four-piece. They remain at the top of the album chart with their massive selling 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends'. It also soared to the top of the US album charts this week.

Just beneath Coldplay on the album chart are Duffy (2) and Neil Diamond (3), two artists enjoying very good Glastonburys.

Back on the single chart there is little movement, though Jordin Sparks climbs from 10 to three with 'No Air' and Busta Rhymes featuring Linkin Park moves into the top 10 at 10.

Former NME cover-stars Glasvegas score their first ever hit entering the top 20 at 16 with new single 'Geraldine'. On the album chart there is more good news for Chris Martin as his favourite band Sigur Ros enter at five with 'Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust'.

Guests Blend Seamlessly On New Gym Class Heroes Disc

Gym Class Heroes are planning on taking a "movie approach" to their sophomore album, "The Quilt: Starring Gym Class Heroes," due in August via Decaydence/Fueled by Ramen, according to lead vocalist Travis McCoy.

"I can't speak for everyone but I hate seeing lots of features on an album. So, instead we're having a movie aesthetic, where everyone is going to be part of the cast as opposed to being featured," he tells Billboard.com. "You won't know who is on the album just by looking at the liner notes. You'll know only if you listen and recognize the person's voice. This way, people know we didn't do stuff for name sake, but really because that person belonged on that song."

Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne, John Oates, K-OS and Busta Rhymes are among the guest features, while Cool & Dre and Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump have assisted with production.

The set includes the Oates-featuring "Fly With Me," a dedication to McCoy's cousin who committed suicide last year. "It's sort of a Romeo and Juliet-type of story," he says.

"Live a Little" is another track that the MC holds dear, because of the close parallels between the song and his own life. "The song urges people to live in the moment because no one is promised tomorrow. In the situation I was in, if I hadn't got myself together, maybe I wouldn't even make it past this summer," says McCoy, who was released from a detox center for a severe drug addiction within the past couple of months.

As previously reported, Gym Class Heroes are among the headliners for this year's Vans Warped Tour, alongside Paramore, The All American Rejects and The Academy Is..., among others. The group will also headline their own trek in the fall.

In addition, McCoy is featured on Kelly Rowland's latest single, "Daylight," which is currently No. 32 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Gym Class Heroes' debut album, "As Cruel As School Children," reached No. 8 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart. The set has sold 510,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The single "Cupid's Chokehold" climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
