Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' Album Cover(s)

One more week to go! In the meantime, is it the return of multiple album covers? I can't recall all of them but I know Beyoncé did it and Rihanna is also doing it. Take a look at the cover artwork for Coldplay's upcoming release Mylo Xyloto. And speaking of Rihanna, she'll also make a guest appearance on the band's album on the track titled Princess Of China.

Are You Ready for 'Mylo Xyloto'?

I've honestly never been excited about a Coldplay release, not even after getting their first album Parachutes back in 2000 and discovering one of my favorite bands to-date. It must be the anticipation of listening to the whole thing after getting some pretty solid tracks like Major Minus and Paradise. Don't judge me but I'm not a big fan of Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall, for some reason or another. So, two things: 1) Are you ready for Mylo Xyloto? and 2) How the hell do you pronounce Mylo Xyloto??!

Now that we talk Coldplay, they've had a good run with Major Minus so far on the Songs Chart, reaching as high as #5, which is where the song's at this early October, 14 weeks after its debut. Paradise, on the other hand, is at the early stages of its chart run, sitting at #63 in its second week, but with a big chance of going further up as we get closer to the album release.

Coldplay's Mini Concert on the 'Late Show'

David Letterman's Late Night recently presented Coldplay as part of the show's live presentation. The event took place on September 20th and just in time as the anticipation builds for the band's upcoming new album release Mylo Xyloto. The performance included new tunes, like current personal favorite Major Minus, as well as good old classics like Yellow, Fix You and Clocks. Watch the hour-long performance below.

Coldplay › Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall

The new Coldplay video seems like it's taken right out their Viva La Vida era, and that's not a bad thing but maybe they can try something different for change? Or maybe that's their "thing" I guess. (The Strawberry Swing video is better, in my opinion.) Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall is the first single from the band's upcoming new album. Their recently released EP single features two new songs as well, Major Minus and Moving To Mars.
