As Drake fans await the follow-up to debut album "Thank Me Later," the Toronto rapper has posted a new track, "Dreams Money Can Buy," on his October's Very Own blog this morning (May 20).
The track finds Drake waxing poetic about the finer things in life over a moody beat that samples U.K. singer-songwriter Jai Paul's single "BTSTU." "Dreams money can buy/They told me it's like a high and it wasn't a lie," Drake raps in the chorus-less track's second verse.
"A song that I felt the need to share," Drake explains on his blog. "Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though..."
While Drake is currently working on his sophomore album, "Take Care," the Grammy-nominated rapper also spent time in the studio with indie R&B act The Weeknd, dishing on the pairing of the "young kings" on Twitter yesterday. Drizzy also steps up to the mic on DJ Khaled's latest single, "I'm On One," which also features Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.
