I'm not a huge fan but if I had to choose one song from Britney Spears' latest album Femme Fatale, it'd have to be this one, so it was a nice surprise to find out that a video for Criminal was in the works and it was an even bigger surprise seeing the final result. Maybe a little over the top story-wise, but her best one so far for this release.



Criminal debuted on the Top Songs Chart last April and reached a #11 peak. The video release can definitely put it back on the charts.

When you think of the end of the world you think Mayans and really bad movies.. unless you're thinking of something good-sounding like Britney Spears new single. To be honest I've never really been a huge fan of hers but did enjoy the occasional Toxic or Stronger. How long ago was that? She didn't even have any big hits on my chart up until now that she's been soaring with Till The World Ends. So far it's reached a #7 peak, so let's see if it can get any higher.

Onto bigger news for the singer: She just scored her sixth #1 album in the United States with Femme Fatale, matching third place for female artists alongside Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Only Madonna, with 7, and Barbra Streisand with 9 have more.

And the video? Well, it's very I'm A Slave 4 U, but I'm not minding it much at all.

Britney Spears › Hold It Against Me

The wait is finally over for all Britney Spears addicts out there. After some 10-plus agonizing days of video teasers, the final product has arrived, so check out the long-awaited video for Hold It Against Me. There's definitely a lot of stuff happening that I can't quite understand, and that's alright if there is, in fact, a meaning behind it, but I did feel a little underwhelmed by the dance routine. Not what I expected but overall it's very visual and fast-paced, with plenty of advertising. Maybe I'm not so easily-impressed anymore.

If you didn't know by now, this is the first single from her upcoming studio album, Femme Fatale, out March 29th.
