Kate Bush has entered the albums chart at Number Two as Adele's '21' spent its 16th week at the top spot tonight (May 22).
'Director's Cut', a collection of re-recorded tracks from two of Bush's previous albums, looked on course to hit the summit earlier this week.
However, it eventually fell short of toppling the Tottenham soul singer, whose 2008 debut '19' stayed at Number Three.
There were other new entries for Friendly Fires - in at Number 6 with 'Pala' - and Moby, whose new record 'Destroyed' debuted at Number 35.
In the singles chart, Cuban-American rapper Pitbull scored his first official Number One with 'Give Me Everything', a collaboration with Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer which climbed from last week's Number 2.
Swedish House Mafia debuted at Number 10 with their new single 'Save The World', while Jedward were new at Number 40 with their Eurovision Song Contest entry 'Lipstick'.
Lady Gaga scored a new entry at Number 13 with 'Hair' and made chart history in the process, becoming the first female artist since Ruby Murray in 1955 to clock up four Top 20 singles in one week.
'The Edge Of Glory' (Number 6), 'Judas' (Number 8) and 'Born This Way' (Number 16) were the other three entries in the chart.
