Drake Finally Reaches The Top

After several close calls Drake has finally reached the top of The Chart this week as Unforgettable featuring Young Jeezy makes a twelve-spot jump to No. 1, the second biggest leap to the summit this year behind Katy Perry's Teenage Dream and the fifth biggest overall. Drake had previously only reached No. 2 on four different occasions with Best I Ever Had, Over, Mary J. Blige's The One and Timbaland's Say Something. For Young Jeezy this is his 4th chart-topper as a collaborative artist, having reached the top before with Mariah Carey's Side Effects (3 weeks), Jay-Z's Real As It Gets (2 weeks) and Akon's I'm So Paid (1 week).

And Drake gets another Top 10 this week as Rihanna's What's My Name? enters at No. 6. (Rihanna's highest charted song to-date is Pon De Replay which went to No. 4 in August of 2005). Kanye West also goes Top 10 this week with Runaway (No. 8), his second from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and also gets the Biggest Jump and Greatest Gainer this week as All Of The Lights skyrockets to No. 24 after last week's No. 84 debut.

My Chemical Romance also makes in important move this week jumping 40 spots to No. 23 with SING, Mariah Carey jumps 22 spots with the holiday duet O Come All Ye Faithful / Hallelujah Chorus and Lovedrug jumps 42 spots to No. 52 with their live acoustic version of Pink Champagne.

The Highest Debut this week belongs to another live track, the XX cover version of Crystalised by Gorillaz which enters at No. 62 and their first song to chart in five years since Feel Good Inc. reached No. 6 in 2005. Kanye West's Dark Fantasy also debuts at No. 71, Bruno Mars enters at no. 72 with Grenade as the Power Play of the week, Mariah Carey's When Christmas Comes bows at No. 75, The Black Eyed Peas' The Time (Dirty Bit) surprise at No. 78 and So Appalled by Kanye West and other collaborators debuts at No. 79.
