Katy Perry Ties for Most Weeks at #1 in 2010

It's week number six at the top for Katy Perry and her Teenage Dream. That puts her in quite a relevant category as she has now tied Two Door Cinema Club's Undercover Martyn for most weeks at #1 for the year 2010. We'll have to wait till next week to see if she can surpass this feat and become the year's biggest hit. You may also want to know that this is Katy Perry's biggest hit ever in my chart as her previous releases went barely noticed.

There's lots of competition though now that Kings Of Leon have finally taken off, landing at #4 this week with Radioactive, which coincidentally is also this week's greatest gainer. B.o.B also enters the top 10 with his Rivers Cuomo collaboration, Magic (#8) after only two weeks on the chart. That's his third top 10 hit after Nothin' On You and former #1, Airplanes. Also new to the top 10 is Flo Rida who, with the help of David Guetta, lands at #9 with Club Can't Handle Me.

P!nk debuts big at #14 with Raise Your Glass, the first single from her upcoming greatest hits compilation. Chris Brown also returns to the chart after a very long hiatus, even though the Deuces (Remix) (#43) could be anybody else's song. Weezer and Ok Go's current singles also make their debut this week at #73 and #74 respectively. At the very end of the chart we see several new tracks from Brandon Flowers' solo release, Flamingo, including the new single Only The Young (#95).
